The candidate will be responsible for complete execution of projects including team management. He /She will need to interact with clients and/or the team abroad during all phases of delivery. Candidates will be required to have an understanding of the complete scope of work assigned, its usage, technical architecture and functionality. They will be expected to provide technical leadership to their teams and will be responsible for all client deliverables as per the project processes and guidelines.

In addition, the position requires the incumbents to be able to assist in Business Analysis and pre sales activities such as scoping and sizing of work and proposing technical solutions.

The candidate is expected to be a hands on person by nature, must have the habit of taking initiative to improve execution, and should possess strong leadership and mentoring potential.

• Should have experience of working on Java/J2EE Projects/Product with hands on experience on EJB’s, JSP’s, Servlets, and JDBC
• Should be comfortable with Java/J2EE application design, and web-based project architecture and design, and have good knowledge of the OOPS concept
• Should have worked on SQL Server/Oracle Database and UML design tools (Together, Rose, Visio)
• Some experience working with OO RAD frameworks and other relevant frameworks (such as Struts) would be a plus
• Exposure to Web Services and XML is desirable
• Should be quality conscious and exposed to established software development quality norms. Awareness of CMM practices will be an advantage
• Must be proficient in estimation, project planning and management
• Awareness of formal methods of estimation will be an advantage
• Must have excellent communication and team management skills
• Prior experience of travel and client interaction with North American , Europe and UK based clients will be an advantage
